Fluval Stratum

Used primarily for growing under water plants in fish tanks, Fluval Stratum has been popping up as one of the substrate of choice for propagating house plants, seeds, and corms. This volcanic, mineral rich, porous substrate is worth a try if you want to step up your propagation game. 

Just like perlite, be sure to rinse it prior to using and introducing to your plants.
